The trip has been amazing so far! My bottom is a little bit soar but the seat cover I got from the Lee's helped out a lot today! Thanks guys! The families I have been staying with have also been great! If these families are any indication of things to come this trip will truly be amazing! I am at the Leber's tonight in Glasgow, their house is beautiful. I just have a short day tomorrow, about 31 miles. It should seem more like a rest day. Then I get to stay in Bowling Green Saturday night and Sunday night! As mentioned in a comment on the previous entry the "free spirit" got some miles. Be careful with her, you have all seen what she did to me! :-) Here is my pic for the day, I found the caption at the bottom of the image to be a bit funny. You see what you think. I miss everyone like crazy! Hope your holloween wasn't too spooky! <3

day two, skip to my loo?

had a lovely ride today. My odometer/speedometer doesn't work all the time. It currently reads 80 some miles when I have actually traveled 90 some. ooops I took a pic of a rather beautiful landscape today. I haven't taken a look at it yet but I am fixin to post it here in a sec!

Also, I bought a phone charger today! so I can actually use my phone now. :-)

day one, what fun!

soooo, as some of you know I have a chip (on my shoulder; ha not really) chipped tooth in the front, and a rather large filling to make it look normal and feel normal.

Today at about mile 15 I took a drink of water from my handy bottle... when I pushed the lid back in I used my teeth... now I look funny again:

not sure if anyone is playing the guessing game or not but I went 40.09 miles today ;-)

News

I got a call this morning from Kevin (the awesome guy who has helped with equipment for my trip) and I might be in the paper... lol. Kinda neat.

Also, yesterday I decided to start a little competition. I am going to post my route on a google calendar, and have you all guess each day how many miles I will have actually traveled. Also, a guess for total miles of my trip. Here is the link to the calendar, happy guessing:

leaving Wednesday at noon!

I will be heading out on my trip starting Wednesday at noon. I will be leaving from my old apartment at 812 E Main St.. I hope some of you can come and take pics and whatever else people feel like doing. I can't wait to see you all!!! :-)
